Summer in South Asia 2012

The Center of South Asian Studies at U-M is a national leader in promoting a deeper understanding of the South Asia region. The Summer in South Asia Fellowship: Thanks to a generous donation by an anonymous donor, 6-7 undergraduate students have an opportunity to design and carry out their own reserach programs in India during the summer. Students will record their experiences on this blog throughout their term of research in India. They will present their work at a colloquium in fall.

[Brad] Week 0

Hello everyone! I am Brad and I will be traveling to Mumbai on Wednesday to complete a research project with Armman India. Some struggles obtaining a visa have kept me in the states later than I expected, but now my ticket's bought and my bags are (almost) packed. I am excited to share all of my experiences to come soon, but for now I wanted to write to say hello. See you soon, in India!
